Payment Methods

All prices on this site are quoted in Canadian dollars. For current rates of exchange between Canada and your Country of origin, you can use a currency converter such as xe.com.

We currently accept PayPal (this is a secure payment system), Wire Transfers, Cashier's Cheques, Money Orders or E-Cheques. In Canada, you can also send Interac Email Money Transfers (2% off product when using E-Transfers) through your banking institution (sent to: sales@bdesigns.ca) The quickest, easiest and most secure method of payment and obtaining a fast delivery is to submit payment using PayPal. You do NOT have to be a PayPal member to pay when checking out with PayPal - you have the option of using your credit card during checkout - PayPal just handles the transaction in this case.

Fees

Wire Transfers - A $30.00 CAD processing fee will be added to your order. Cashiers Cheques and Money Orders originating outside Canada when paying by certified cheque or wire transfer that is NOT converted into Canadian dollars before you send payment - A 5% CAD processing fee will be added to your order.

If you are paying by Wire Transfer, Cashier's Cheque or Money Order, your order will be processed when payment arrives. When using E-Cheques or E-Cheques through PayPal, your order will be processed when the payment clears our account, which generally takes approximately 8 business days.

If you are in Canada and paying with Interac Email Money Transfer you can choose either of these methods.

  1. Email us at sales@bdesigns.ca with the codes and descriptions of the product(s) you want, including your address, and we will email you back with a total amount to send.
  2. Using the PayPal "Buy Now" buttons, select the product(s) you want and proceed to checkout. Copy the product code, description, cost and shipping charges. Total those amounts. Empty the shopping cart and then close the window. E-mail us the product codes and descriptions you want to order, and send an Interac Email Transfer for the total amount you calculated. Amounts will be verifed before processing your order. Any saving from combined shipping will be returned via Interac E-Transfer.

PayPal Users

Please ensure your shipping address is correct and up-to-date before you initiate a payment. This will ensure packages do not get returned to us due to old addresses. Returned items that are re-shipped will incurr a return and re-ship charge to the customer, before the package is re-sent to you. (for example, if original shipping cost was $10, an additional $20 would be required to re-ship the product that was returned). The correct shipping address is the responsibility of the customer as are other charges BDesigns has to pay to re-ship due to an incorrect address.

Custom Orders

Custom orders require a minimum deposit of 40% before order is processed (you can make a complete payment as well).

Canadian Taxation

In HST participating Provinces of British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Ontario, the appropriate HST will be added to your order. Residents of Alberta, Nunavut, Northwest Territories or the Yukon will have 5% GST added to their orders. For residents of Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Saskatchewan, the buyers are expected to remit the tax on their out-of-province purchases.

Note To All Customers Outside Canada

Customers outside Canada may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance are your responsibilty and are borne by you. We have no control over these charges and can't predict what they might be. Customs can be different from country to country so you should contact your local customs office for further information.

Customs authorities require us to state the value of the item in the paperwork. Generally, customs forms for international packages will list the value of your order's contents by the price that you paid, excluding shipping costs.

PayPal "Add To Shopping Cart" Buttons

With some products you will see multiple "Shopping Cart" buttons with different Country symbols beside them. This is due to variable shipping costs between Domestic and International destinations. At BDesigns, we don't feel it is fair to charge one averaged higher shipping rate to cover all countries, just to make it easy for ourselves. You pay fair shipping and handling charges for Canadian, USA and International destinations. If you hold your mouse pointer over the Country symbols (try it below), they will tell you the shipping method. Just click on the "Shopping Cart" button beside your Country symbol to purchase the product. If there are no symbols, that means the product ships Lettermail. The symbols you will see are;

Return Policy

Decals

Please ensure you are ordering the correct decals for your machine! Due to the low volume demand for model specific decals and adhesive shelf life, BDesigns does not generally stock decals. Decals are produced on a one-by-one basis. Due to these conditions, we will accept returns on decals ordered in error, but a 20% re-stocking fee will apply. Items must be returned within 30 days in undamaged condition, and your money (less shipping and re-stocking charges) will be refunded.

If you are not happy with the quality or accuracy of your purchase, simply return the purchased items, in undamaged condition, and your money (including shipping charges) will be fully refunded.

Carburetor Kits

Please ensure you are ordering the correct product for your machine! Any carb kits shown on our website that are ordered in error must be returned within 30 days in undamaged condition, and your money (less shipping charges) will be refunded.

Any carb kits NOT listed on our website are ordered in on a one-by-one basis as special order. We will accept returns but a 40% re-stocking fee will apply. Your money (less shipping and re-stocking fees) will be refunded.

If the product is defective, please return it to us. Once received will will inspect to see what caused the defects and the kit will either be replaced or refunded fully, including shipping. We will also cover the cost for you to ship back the defective item, once the evaluation is complete.

All Other Product

Please ensure you are ordering the correct product for your machine! Any items ordered in error must be returned within 30 days in undamaged condition, and your money (less shipping charges) will be refunded. If you are not happy with the quality of your purchase, simply return the purchased items, in undamaged condition, and your money (including shipping charges) will be fully refunded.

Shipping

We ship worldwide. Costs can vary depending on where you live, what level of service and how much value your order is. Some shipping services and insurance coverages are not available to all International destinations. I cases like this, an alternate method will be chosen to ensure your package arrives as cost effectively as possible. Generally we ship using Canada Post. We also will ship FedEx at your request.

Due to complaints of outrageous handling and brokerage fees charged by UPS when crossing the border into the United States (or from United States into Canada for that matter) we only use the Canada Post/USPS delivery system as our default cross-border shipping carrier. We WILL NOT ship any product using UPS.

In most cases we do NOT ship decals rolled in a tube as some other companies do. Although slightly more cost for shipping, we prefer to ship our product flat and protected from bending. Have you ever tried to install a curled decal? It is not very easy. Decal material can also ripple and buckle when flattening the decals out, after being rolled for even a moderate amount of time. If we do have to ship decals in a box, it is usually International shipments and due to decal length. This is done to keep some shipping costs down where possible. If we do ship decals in a box, they are not rolled tight, but set into a large curved position to prevent permanent curling.

Due to the low volume demand for model specific decals and adhesive shelf life, BDesigns does not generally stock low volume decals or low volume vinyl material. This ensures you get decals that are "fresh" and us not having to stock materials that don't sell. Because of this, orders generally take from two days to one week to process after payment has cleared, before they ship.

LOCAL PICKUP OF ORDERS

Although our business is an Internet Store and primarily a mail order business, there has been a growing local need for customers to save money by requiring pickup. "Local" orders can be arranged to be picked up, only on Fridays. Please call to arrange an appointment for pickup. 519-954-5049

SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA

Orders valued under $60 are sent by Canada Post Lettermail unless the item size or protection requires parcel shipping. Insurance is not included. If you wish to have the parcel insured, please contact us for alternate shipping methods.

All parcel shipments valued over $35 are sent by Canada Post Expedited Parcel unless requested otherwise. Insurance is included and the product is trackable. Xpress Post is available upon request.

VIN shipments are shipped Expedited Parcel.

Small parcel shipments valued above $35 and up to $100 (some exceptions apply - please inquire) are shipped Canada Post Tracked Packet US or Small Packet Air, unless the item size requires Expedited Parcel. Insurance is included with Tracked Packet and the parcel is trackable. Small Pack Air has no insurance coverage is not trackable. If insurace or trackability is required by you, the Customer, Tracked Packet, Expedited Parcel, XPress Post and Priority Worldwide are available upon request.

Larger parcels OR items valued over $100 (some exceptions apply - please inquire) are shipped Canada Post Expedited Parcel USA. Insurance is included and the parcel is trackable. XPress Post or Priority Worldwide are available upon request.

VIN shipments are shipped Tracked Packet.

Please note that non-guaranteed service delivery times very rarely go past the estimated time of delivery, but it can happen. Canada Post is known to be a reliable service, but once it crosses the US border, some States' Postal System is not as reliable as other States - it varies.

Orders valued under $20 are sent by Canada Post/International Lettermail or Small Pack International (some exceptions apply - please inquire), unless the item size or protection requires parcel shipping. Insurance is NOT included. If you wish to have the parcel insured, please contact us for alternate shipping methods.

Small parcel shipments valued above $40 and up to $250 (some exceptions apply - please inquire) are shipped Canada Post Tracled Packet or Small Packet International unless the item size or protection requires "Oversize" parcel shipping. Insurance is NOT included with Small Pack Air and the product is NOT trackable. Insurance is included in Tracked Packet and the product is trackable. XPress Post International and Priority Worldwide are available upon request. Please note, Tracked Packet service is not available in all Countries and we will choose the appropriate shipping method if Tracked Packet is not available.

Oversize parcels OR items valued over $250 are shipped Canada Post International Surface Parcel (by sea). Insurance is included and the product is trackable. XPress Post International and Priority Worldwide are available upon request.

VIN shipments are shipped standard Air Mail.

In particular, the the Postal service in Italy has periodically been very slow to clear packages through Customs and the Postal system.

As of April 2013, Surface Parcel shipments to Australia have been exceedingly slow as well. Please keep this in mind if you need your parcel in a short time frame.
